Ralph Hutter, O.D.
Dr. Ralph Hutter earned his Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics at Rutgers University. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from State University of New York College of Optometry. He relocated to teach Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry, now known as Marshal B. Ketchum University. After achieving the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor, he left education to provide patient care at what is now known as Cypress Eye Optometry Group.
He is a past president and current member of the Cypress Rotary Club. He has been a troop leader and counselor for multiple merit badges with Boy Scouts of America.
Besides delivering optometric patient care, he also enjoys a variety of music genres, art, film, travel, off-road riding, camping, target shooting, wine tasting, sushi, and long-range Pacific sport fishing.

Joy Nakabayashi, O.D.
Dr. Nakabayashi is a third generation Californian. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Cal State Northridge and her Doctorate from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Nakabayashi has been in private practice for over 25 years. Over the years she has been involved in various organizations such as Soroptimists, PTA, Girl Scouts, optometric organizations and volunteers for the Lion’s Club.
Dr. Nakabayashi is married to a fellow Optometrist, Ralph Hutter. They have 2 wonderful grown children.
When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, photography, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
